    A very large coffee estate with nicely placed rooms / british era villa, in the middle of nature. Pure air and greenery makes you feel happy. Good staff,nice food. Peacocks are regulars! One could get lost inside the jungle like estate but safe!

    Kalgreen valley resorts , the worst resort to ever go with the family, okay for single people who want to rough it out . The estate workers quarters seem to be converted to row house rooms , one would probably pay 300 Rupees for such an accommodation. The place is a total rip off. The bathrooms are extremely tiny, filthy and broken down. The rooms have huge plaster cracks all over and torn towels are given to use, the sheets are dirty and so are the blankets , mildew is all over the walls and on the cupboard doors. The rooms are never cleaned when one stays there. There is no upkeep / maintenance if the place. The pool looks lovely from the outside but when you enter the pool is terrible with tiles coming if every where, my son ended up getting a deep gash on his foot because of this. The food is lousy and one keeps getting the same food for every meal. I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone. Consider We travel quite a distance to reach this place and it unfortunate we have to go through such a terrible experience. The place is definitely not worth even the money spent there. I suggest that people totally avoid this place . They cannot be considered a resort , probably just some estate workers quarters converted into rooms so that they can make a quick buck. There is absolutely no one here to complain about the lousy service and the lousy maintenance of the place

    Far away from chikmangaluru almost 100km. Very bad , nothing good in it No reception, no activity. Waste of money.

    Hi Guys, we had awesome experience in kalgreen, we are very happy with their services. But i would suggest you all to call kalgreen and book the room instead of going through Makemytrip or any other mediator. We had booked through make my trip, they charged us a big amount than what Kalgreen charges if you book Directly. They have charged us more than 70% what kalgreen charges and they will give 10% discount. And the worst experience was that we were about to reach Kalgreen, we just called the concerned person in Kalgreen for route guidance and got to know that there was no confirmation from Make my trip for Availability that the Resort is full and further through some calls with Make my trip, somehow they got us a room in Kalgreen. Remember guys it pains a lot when u experience this. I have rated Excellent for Kalgreen. Make sure u do not go through Mediators

    Hi to all.... kalgreen valley resort is a wonderful and awesome gateaway from the busy and polutted cities, especially for us as we were from Malaysia.... the wide spread greenery resort is so wonderful developed and maintaned. The view and the fresh breeze is completely unmatched and compatible with any other... the jungle trekking into the mist of mornings,especially self grown fruit orchard by the humble landlords. The rooms are very very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The food is deliciously prepared and nonstop temptations. Can t be left with the best hospitality provided by the staff and the bosses with loads for smile and cheer.overall we will give the resort a gold award. We will recommend anyone to stay there and we will surely come back again and again to Kalgreen resort....thank you for you tremendous service..keep it up....

    Excellent escape for a weekend. Well maintained row houses spread across the plantation of 400 acres. Very friendly staff. Associated with YHAI. Boating, rappelling, trekking facilities within the plantation. Quality Food.
