Pankaj BhatiaGood place to spend half a day with kids. Has both indoor and outdoor options. There is a Joy train as well which runs every 20 mins. The indoor gallery showcases the history of Indian Railways and the outdoor has various engines and compartments (actual and not models) on display. Not many dining options except for a small cafeteria that offers snacks like sandwiches and packed juices/soft drinks.

The museum contains models of almost all the train engines ever built, the museum also has bigger models of many trains, all over it is a good place to visit. Local Facts you should know: 1. It has few special rides apart from the big museum like train rides, toy train, steam rides etc. 2. It has a well furnished and maintained food court, which is quite pricey. 3. The local staffs are good and will help you visiting the area.
