Easily accessible for check in on this international airport, well maintained by airport Authority of India limited in city. Location of this airport is suitable,no more time wastage during travel for or from airport. Flights are for New Delhi,Mumbai,Bangalore,Goa,Chennai.

Airport is small but efficiently run. Not many shops inside. For departing passengers there is a small snack bar which sells sandwiches and biscuits, tea/coffee etc For arriving passengers, there are no facilities for pre paid taxi booking. The autorickshaws charge flat Rs. 200. Which is robbery but one does not have a lot of options.
