Long queues.. Normal lift.. 10 rs one side.. You have to buy tickets from counter both times.. Going up n coming down.. Going up.. Reach to one level (where lift stops).. Travel some distance as way is taking you for another lift.. Take another one to rech The Mall.. No queues while coming down..

Good way to go mall road through this lift. Rush are there but we can save good amount of time from it. I liked it. They will only charge 10 rupees from one side and discount for senior citizens.

Instead of lift they shud have created escalators. It seems like corrupt guys have created lift and are charging for every turn in lift just to reach at Mall road. The govt should look in it and stop this. Escalators would have been much better and convenient.

The lift is a very good idea to reach the Mall road located in Shimla. Just opposite side is car park and we handed over the keys to the parking guys and they parked our car safely. Their are 2 lifts at this place and you will have to change the lift at level 1 to reach the top, the charges are Rs.10/- one way and is very reasonable, you will find some line if you happen to be in peak hour. The lift is small and claustrophobic. The government needs to build large lifts for this place.
