Very money-minded. Beware of this one instructor - Lavanya. She blasted me in front of the whole class for wanting to open the window a little. It was extremely stuffy & stinking of sweat. She told me to close it or leave the class! What is this? 2nd grade?She has some serious anger issues for a self-proclaimed yoga/meditation teacher. Clients will lose the little ounce of peace of mind they might have had if they attended her fake meditation classes. She calls it "Yin yoga". I guess she learnt it over a 2-minute youtube video.

There is one Yoga studio where people can walk in 15 minutes late, disturb the class, stop the class and make other practitioners move the mats and completely ruin the flow of the class. The Team is so focused on impressing a few late coming practitioners, they have absolutely no respect for people who make the effort to be in the class before time. This yoga studio is perhaps only one which does not want to pass the message of discipline, from my experience from yoga studios out of India, they have a strict policy of not permitting anyone once the doors are closed, where @1000 Yoga they are rewarded for coming in late by disturbing the class sometimes they even permit post 25 minutes of starting the class. My review is for Koramangala studio, one of the reasons why we should not permit anyone who is late because the warm up is complete and practice at peak and the possibility of injury is high is the management taking responsibility for any injury or an accident that occurs during the practice. Also, there is no issue in using cell phones, they can ring and they buzz and people are allowed to use cell phones too sometimes! And you can hear the wonder full buzzing sound while we are in deep meditation and yoga nidra, I guess this the management surprise to keep you up and active  In my opinion Yoga should cultivate disciple, but 1000 Yoga has taken Yoga to a new heights of encouraging all the nonsense and disrespecting Yoga and Practitioners. My next step is write to Yoga Alliance if they have any standard a Yoga studio has to maintain if all the above are permitted as per their standards and if a studio violates what action would they like to take! Management of @ 1000 Yoga please wake up from your deep slumber and observe what is happening or else you will start to loose practitioners, please don’t demean yoga and contribute to sanctity of yoga.
