It is a small piece of Calcutta in Bangalore. If you visit Sunday morning, you can check all Bengali people come that market to buy famous freshwater fish from Calcutta. Fresh water fishes are available in most of the varieties there, although the price is little bit high. You can have other Bengali items that are not easily available in Bangalore there.

Good place for good fruits and veggies with good price. Much better than the shopping marts. But the fruits there are costlier.

We can get a lot of fresh vegetables fruits in this place at a reasonable price. Also there is a small shop which specialises in Bengali items. On Saturday and Sunday the fish market provides a good collection of fishes, crabs, prawns. The place is not very clean though. There is ample parking facility, especially for two wheeler.
