A stunning visual reminder of a bygone era. The facade of the building still holds grandeur and a sense of history. Behind the facade things are not as well maintained. There is a vast collection of old photos, prints and crumbling mosaic and it is best experienced with the audio commentary as there are no descriptions anywhere. Entry fees can be deemed high but funds need to be apportioned if this palace is to be kept in reasonable state of repair. The separate cost for taking photographs using a mobile phone camera Vs using a digital camera is a bit ludicrous and dated and management would do well to review this dated option. The palace grounds are worth a meander through. Overall a pleasant experience but only expect to spend a couple of hours here before you run out of things to see.

Good place to know the history of Karnataka. You will have the audio tour and you will see lots of photos and antics. Entry fee is around 280. The garden outside Palace is good for photography. You will need minimum 1 hour to see all the palace.

Very beautiful palace. Inside lacks maintenance. When we went movie shooting was going on. So could not see properly. Out side very beautiful n they have maintained nice garde. Must visit once.
