Phani KumarReally liked the atmosphere around the Silver Oaks, you feel very refreshed with lush green paddy fields, birds chirping, fresh air and trees all around. Few good things about the resort, swimming pool is well maintained, breakfast is complimentary and delicious, they let you bring your own alcohol and store in the refrigerator, they do have bikes to go around the resort which will be very soothing in the morning. Things I didn’t like about the resort, this is not in prime Coorg location, about 1.5 hours from the main Coorg town, rooms are very spacious but the beds are very dirty and lot of work needs to be done to make your stay more comfortable, buffet was okay with very few options and they call it a non-veg buffet by just adding some chicken curry/fry and that is your only option since there is no other restaurant available within 30 mins drive from the resort, they mentioned about indoor games but they are all charged extra and not well maintained. Overall, it is a good stay only if you would like to stay in the resort but there are lot of other better homestays around prime Coorg location within the same price range and better facilities. Special mention to the room service person(Ananth), he did his best to make our stay comfortable and kudos to his attitude/service, he must be around 65 years old and he is still working to meet his daily needs and that is very motivating.

Akshit JainGreat place, rooms are good and the hospitality is wonderful (especially the old man at the counter). I liked the food here, simple and easy. All in all, it was worth the money I paid.

Mahesh EvilIt is a nice place to spend 3 or 4 days They will provide route maps for ur trips Unlimited non veg beffet is their special Swimming pool and fitness equipments are great.

Nambi KrishnanA budget resort, helps you to plan your vacations in a nature surround area. Friendly folks there, make your stay more touched. You have a man-made lake and a manual boat, a small coffee estate to walk around, a swimming pool to jump in, a cement floor - badminton court and small other amenities. Food they serve is tastes home-made.
