One of the best places to go for a safari... its also the cheapest option as well... stand against the Kannimara teak tree.... go for rafting with friends.... plenty of options for birding... if nothing else, you get to see various wild animals in close proximity... go trekking... go camping... go sightseeing... this is a true paradise for nature lovers...

One of the best jungle camps in Kerala. Jungle stay provided by forest department operated by the tribals.. Love the hospitality and the food is awesome.. Blessed to see lots of flora and fauna during night safari and early morning trekking with the help of the local tribal guide.. For children and elders they provide short trek too.. During morning trek, the guide will take us through the deep forest... Fortunate to see various types of forest during trekking.. Best place for all especially for kids and elders For honeymoon couples can stay nearby reservoir and is worth staying.. The tents are well maintained and the service of staff are very good...

Beautiful ride inside the forest for more than 3 hours. Need to go early to sight more wild life. Elephant ride is just awesome.

Worst experience, Rs.200 for 3hrs trip in van was really boring. I am not sure about night stay, trekking. But 3 hrs trip is worst, u can just see deer, bison, trees... if u r very lucky u can spot 1 r 2 tigers. Dont try this place in your tight schedule trip. If you want to kill your time, just give a one time visit here. Only climate is enjoyable.
