As an aspirant of civil service I rely on this library ever since my reaching to kochi. A wide range of books are available. Presence of Almost enough newspapers and magazines a keralite might opt for is a great thing to give a consider upon. The drawback is lack of certain books which are essential for the preparation for cracking one of the toughest exams.

Good collection of books, though not as big as Trivandrum central library. The staff is friendly and helpful enough. New books keep getting added to the shelf. They have a facility to renew online using mail. They also screen movies on Saturdays. A good place to be if you like books.

20 years back I had a membership in the library. I used to read from morning to evening sitting in the magazine room or reference room. Recently I came to know that books can be renewed online which is very convenient. I will become a member again soon. Moreover It is open 7 days a week! :)
