This is a big church and seems pretty old. Vehicle parking is sufficient, but the road outside is chocked by slow traffic, especially after functions at the church.

Carmel Hill Monastery Roman Catholic Church Church is served by Monks of the Order of Discalced Carmelites(OCD). Thank you, Jesus, for their great service. A place of prayer and silence. Eucharistic adoration chapel is open for the faithful. Holy Mass timing: Sunday 08:30 am(Malayalam), 11.00 (English) & 04:30 pm(Malayalam) Weekdays 06:30 am (Malayalam) & 05:30 pm (Malayalam) The tomb of the saintly Bishop Aloysius Maria Benziger OCD is here. Saint Theresa of Avila, ora pro nobis. Saint John of The Cross, ora pro nobis.

Carmel Hill ... The very name brings great happiness and peace to my mind. I take great pride to say that I am a regular visitor to this Monastery Church for the past 25 years. The loving and caring Carmelite Friars at the Monastery have always been a great source of motivation and inspiration to me. They helped me grow and evolve as a human being with compassion and responsibility towards the society I live in. I visit the Church daily to experience great peace and serenity. I get the required strength to tackle my day to day activities. The calm and peaceful lifestyle of the Friars has always inspired me in my life. I encourage and invite everyone to visit this wonderful Church. You can download all your worries to the Lord and upload peace and happiness that only He can give. The Church is a major milestone in my journey towards Jesus, my Lord in Heaven
