Mayank AjugiaAn important landmark in IIT Bombay campus. Has a number of lecture halls, seminar rooms and a large auditorium. The VMCC Auditorium (now formally known as B Nag Auditorium) is well designed, and superbly furnished and maintained. Its a popular venue for talks by invited speakers and conference sessions. The building remains very active as some or other event is being hosted every week. The upper floors of the VMCC building are christened as Civil Department Annex. They house laboratories of transportation, geotechnical, environmental and structural engineering faculties. The terrace above the auditorium was previously covered by a fabric roof. The building has been designed by well-known architect Hafeez Contractor.
