Tarang KulkarniA really good hotel to stay in. Huge rooms, clean bed and interiors and really good service. The hotel gives the feel of staying in a palace, as its made out of stone. Totally worth the price.

Anirban SarkarGood hotel but there are better alternatives. Attached pictures are that of Welcome Hotel which is 2 min walking distance from Grand towards GPO. Welcome Hotel is just on the opposite corner of GPO beside Victoria Hotel and opp to Kalpana Restaurant. The reason why I am posting pictures of Welcome Hotel in review of Grand is because earlier everytime used to stay at Grand. Thus time my OYO RM suggested Welcome which was advised by him. My partner somehow preferred Grand and we cancelled 2 days out of 4 days just to stay at Grand. After my partner and myself left Welcome and checked in at Grand, we realized that we have made a mistake and Welcome was a far better place. I list here the advantages 1. Welcome has better central AC of Mitusibishi whereas Grand has old Voltas window AC 2. Welcome Hotel room is three times the size of Grand 3. Welcome has a grand sofa not there at Grand 4. Welcome has 43 inch Samsung led TV. Grand has smaller Videocon LED TV. 5. The ambience is much more grand at Welcome. 6. Welcome gives 1 lit water bottle where Grand gves 500 ml 7. Beds are bigger 8. Bathroom are better. Overall we felt Welcome this time had given us better experience. We were at Room 501 at Welcome and Room 35 at Grand Was so gloomy after seeing and comparing the hotel room at Grand with the rooms at Welcome where stayed the previous 2 nights that I forgot to take few snaps and give side by side.
