Ramdas IyerNot many matches are held here anymore. The archives ate badly maintained and of poor quality. The grounds are very good. The managers are good. But for cricketing history this is not a good place. Also few world class cricketers are produced here.

Pravin GahukarVery beautiful cricket stadium in India, equipped with world class facilities for sports training, and spectators. Although in terms of seating capacity it is behind Eden Garden(Kolkata), but in terms of playing dimensions, It has got the longest boundary among all the cricket stadiums in India, and so its a bit challenging ground for batsman, which is evident from many Int matches played here. My favorite test match played here is - Ind Vs SA, 3rd Test, Nov, 2015.
