Nikhil WanpalA beautiful garden to spend time with family. The garden is huge, with ample parking space and lots to do for a half day picnic. Usually there are some exhibitions going on which you can visit while here. It can get crowded on weekends. It is also a nice spot for small family functions.

Subhag SinghA part of the Botanical department of The Government Of India. Popularly called the empress gardens. Great picnic spot in the heart of the city. Boasts a large variety of Trees some of which are over 70 yrs old. There is a playing area for children and some rides. In another separate area is a plant nursery and prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for a peaceful place to be in then avoid Saturdays and Sundays as it gets very crowded with families. Its advisable to carry your antimosquito .

Siddharth NaikEmpress Garden is one of the oldest garden in town. Having a botanical garden with age old tress and flower plants. Huge areas around to chill and relax. Good place for weekend vibes for picnic and things. Although there are some things which are completely against public viewing.

Vijay SonarI am a photographer and this place is great for me and other Photographers. This place is large, and have so many species of plants. We can also do prewedding photo shoots here, they charge a bit for Photoshoot s. In rainy season insect lovers have a treat here. But except early morning, this place is crowded with couples.the couples occupy this place each good place and you left with fewer option to shoot. There is a small canteen, an office, ample parking lot.

Shafi BabarPune needs more places like this. Each visit is a refreshing experience specially during flower shows. Place is maintained and kept suitably clean. However becomes and issue and the garden is converting more into a lovers point and taking kids to the garden sometimes becomes embarassing.
