Exquisitely maintained old tea factory, the highest in the world. The gentleman who gives tours of this place is very polite and knowledgeable. The views from this place are awesome

Worlds highest organic tea plantation covering 300 acres. They sell tea packets and also give free lemon tea. Milk tea costs 10 rs. People over there are very friendly and they can take us to a quick tour of the tea estate. One can trek to meesapulimala from here. Legend says as 3 km trek from here. One can see kodai hills,. Bodi, kurangani from here.

old factory built in 1940 and still uses the original machinery. do not forget to drink tea from the stall in factory. there is a separate entrance ticket to the factory. It is the highest organic tea plantations in the world. It is about 7,130 feet above sea level. Kolukkumalai is accessible only by jeep due to bad roads. The dirt road from suryanelli to Kolukkumala is also very scenic. actually, the journey is better than destination.
