The topslip is part of Tamilnadu and can be reached via pollachi. The jungle safari organised by the forest department is the only possibility to enter the reserve forest. Wild boars just roam around like chicken on a farm land, if you are lucky you can spot heards of elephants and deer. A few kilometers from Topslip is the Kerala border and the Kerala forest also has conducted tours which is rated better and chances of spotting animals is a bit brighter. A nice one day visit but a overnight stay in the jungle accommodation will be the best
