    I was associated with Colruyt IT Consultancy India Pvt. Ltd. for more than 5 years. It is a captive of the Belgium based supermarket chain Colruyt mainly operating in Belgium. It is competing with discounters like Aldi and Lidl in Benelux countries where it is a well-established market leader. I can try to write the pros and cons which I realized while working with the organization and request you to consider them to be my personal opinion. Pros • Respectable work culture which allows you to sustain work life balance • Company invests in developing both technical and personal skills of their employees through multiple in-house training and workshops • Special attention is given on each employee over personal challenges along with professional growth • Salary is descent compared to market standard and excellent employee benefits • Extracurricular activities and employee engagement programs are frequently conducted Cons • The organizational structure of the company leads to conflicts between team culture and project culture • Offshore center is completely based on the organic growth of the parent company • Company supports internal recruitment which leads to internal conflicts and restricts enrichment of organization • Professional growth is higher for lower level executives due to multiple intermediate functions and slows down for mid-level and higher level executives • Due to cultural differences, offshore engagement faces challenges aligning with the parent organization
