Parking charges for private Taxi players like Ola & Uber are pretty high. They charge ₹50-80 for car parking charges which is comparatively high for that place and people are forced to parking there irrespective of the time they need to wait.

There are three parking lots near Hawrah Station. One is in the Station area, it is too costly. 2nd one is Old Parking lot opt. of Hawrah old station main gate and last one is newly situated specially for UBER, OLA cab and private cars also can park here.

For such a big station, already this parking is totally inadequate. As if this was not enough they have also made this area as pick up point for ola and uber. There is no proper shelter and you can elderly and the kids waiting under the sun for their cabs.

If you book a cab from ola or uber , you have to pass via the car parking area and need to pay extra fee..
