It is a good theatre hall.. air conditioned hall with good seating arrangement. Participants can use both staircase and lift during the programme. But no push back seats available here.

It surprises me to see the Wiki facts (always not reliable, like homeopathic drug). The great thespian Utpal Dutt owned it for some time and he staged a number of plays, including Kallol (Waves). When he left this theatre employees of Minerva on a cooperative basis owned this one. They could not continue it for a long time and it was closed. Then Govt took over it. Now this theatre hall is mainly conducted by a group owned its allegiance to the present dispensation and theatre groups with a particular colour are allowed to perform here.
