    Road in front of station is narrow and congested with rickshaws,autos, cars,vans etc. Wide road with divider urgently needed. Cosmetic upliftment with lights but main problem unsolved. Station remains clean for certain hours of the day. Not bad. Stalls and toilet should be modernised.Ticket room is always dirty. Station and adjacent areas must don a very modern look and infrastructure shedding the moffusal type look of the past.The half filled pond should be made free from garbage immediately and beautified properly.

    No. of commuters is quite more than other local railway stations. Cleaner than other local railway stations. Spacious waiting room. There is also rickshaw stand nearby.
