It is not a popular station, this station is connector between Main line and south line. The staton is not so crowded. Neet & clean, water supply is available, Toilets are not aavailable.

The station is located on a chord line having trains to Barackpore and Naihati. Very few trains are available and the upkeep of the facility is poorly done. It is in need of repairs, security for the passengers traveling by night is not trustworthy.
