Siliguri College, established in 8th October 1950, is the oldest college in Siliguri. It offers undergraduate courses in arts and sciences. The campus is in the Darjeeling district. It is affiliated to University of North Bengal and accredited to University of North Bengal. It is also the largest general college in North Bengal. Initially, after inception it was affiliated to the Calcutta University. Later, in 1962, it comes under University of North Bengal.

Good College with so many subject option but still need improvement in teaching quality. The students spends most of the time in dirty politics and other social activities. Hostel quality is not good. The student and teacher ratio for some common subjects are very bad. But some teachers are very good and helpful.
