I stayed at Hotel Bhagirathi Palace a few weeks back. The location is great. Just a few steps off the main road, near Laxman Jhula. The river beach is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It is a great place to relax. The hotel is newly renovated and has a shining touch to everything. The room was really nice, well furnished comfortable twin bed and all modern facilities with attached washroom. It has free WiFi and Cable Tv. We explored the evening bazaars and had a great time. The staff is courteous and sincere. The hotel provides rafting, trekking and bungee jumping packages and we went for 24 kms rafting. It was a good experience and everything was well taken care of. We spent the evening walking around Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. The services and good, the rates are very nominal and hence i recommend this hotel to all.
