naheed rahmanI had gone there to buy a cycle about 6 months back. They have a good range of cycles. The shop was extremely cramped and there was no place to try out the bikes unless you went on the road. The sales guys were quite aggressive and wanted to sell me a bike that I wasnt very keen on. Having done my research on the net I was sure of what I was looking for. However they did not have the size I wanted and were therefore pressurizing me to buy what they had. I was partial to a Trek as well. However when it came to the price they refused to budge and said that they believed in a relationship and that the prices were fixed! And they said that very rudely and didnt get the relationship. Perhaps they have a lot of business to be so cocksure! On the other hand I went to rajesh cycles in Noida and went there 5 times till I bought a cycle, a cannondale. Never did I see these guys showing a fustratiuon at my inability to take a decision. I tried about 7 different bikes. I got a 15% discount with some freebies like a stand and bottle cage thrown it. I have been there twice in a year to get my cycle serviced and they have never charged anything ( cleaning etc). They once came how ( 10 kms) away to fix a speedometer and refused the Rs.200 tip I wanted to give them. I often meet Rajesh and his team at Raahgiri and its a pleasure to talk to these guys. Im a big fan. Their shop is not big and you you ride on a crowded no car lane but their heart is huge. Rajesh cycles is opening a store in the mall opp Decathelon Decathlon the new kid on the block beats both of them hollow. Amazing range of cycles and other sporting gear, free lifelong servicing of your cycles and really helpful sales guy plus a no questions asked refund policy. Plenty of space to ride whatever you want but a pity that their cycles dont compete with the likes of a Trek, Merida, Schwinn. But go there for the accessories.
