Phani KondetiA bit far from the city... Expect long queues during security checkup, if getting on busy flights... It is advisable to keep half-an-hour buffer time after check-in and boarding... Airport bus service is excellent, and connects all the major points of the city... Airport taxi service is reasonably priced... Uber has a separate taxi stand... Food options are many and varying... Staff are friendly and welcoming... Overall, a very good airport with all the necessities...

Kushal AgarwalOne of the best Airports in the country, GVK has done outstanding work. Its well maintained, beautifully built, very spacious and high on standard of operations and toilet hygiene. The addition of another runway along side the existing one will enable this airport to accommodate more international and national flights. The parking, bus bay, departures and arrivals bay have been religiously controlled.

Only problem is that it is located far away from the city and sometimes due to traffic it takes more time in cab to reach your home than the time taken by flight to reach Bangalore.
