With a vision to encourage the intellect, engage in dialogue and stimulate the senses, the Bangalore International Centre seeks to provide an enabling environment for cultural and intellectual events. Started in November 2005 is a premier non-profit organization that is a hub of cultural and intellectual activities in Bangalore. This has been modeled on the lines of the India International Centre and India Habitat centre in Delhi. BIC currently shares its premises with TERI in Domlur, Bangalore. The BIC platform fosters intellectual activity, cultural enterprise and innovation. Quality programs including talks, performances, films, book launches on varied subjects have been held. BIC has diverse members with varying experiences and interests. There are three categories of Institutional members: Corporate Gold member, Corporate Silver member and Institutional member covering educational institutions, alumni clubs, social groups, etc
