This place has 2 huge ancient time cannons . You have to climb a number of stairs to reach the top. Top point offers a magnificent view of Bijapur. Not too many things to looks at or do except the cannons. Still a good place to visit

I happened to visit Vijaypur recently. Town is full of monuments but not maintained well. Water scarcity is much. Roads also not good. In South Indian villages cow dung mixed with dry grass pasted on walls, later being used to burn in household. This material is called "Uppily". This Hyder Burj walls were used for Uppily. Later Hyder Burj name changed to Uppily Burj. Burj in Arabic word means Tower. It is a watch tower. Visiting this town in winter is pleasant. In third week of February also very hot.
