Good place to have an evening stroll and to see the sunset (though u will be forced to go out from beach n park by 6.40). You can see park, lake and beach in one place. Place is not in very good condition due to govt operations. But still good to have a walk around with kids in the evening. They should love the horse riding on the beach. Some boats are seen, but not sure of they work.

A mesmerizing view of river, sea and lagoon. A good place to spend time with family as well as with spouse. The place needs to be more neat and clean. Visitors are advised not to get down to the sea.

Nice view of ocean & lake at one place. Attractions includes, boating, horse riding, sculptures, swings & climbs for children, beach walks & sun set. Speed boating attracts many. Entry fees is 5 R.S. Though you will be forced out after sunset.

Best place for picnic. It includes lake boating and the sea shore metres away from the lake gives better scenery. It also includes horse riding in sea coast, shopping and adventure park meant especially for children...

A good place to be with friends and family. It pretty large in area with garden, boating and beach too. There is a small amusement park for small kids too.

A two in one option to visit a lakeside park for an evening walk and a beach for all the hangouts. KSRTC Bus services are available from East Fort to this place as the last stop and even private buses ply through this route to various destinations, making it easier to reach this spot. Very clean premises to walk around and well made tree shades to sit for hours. Beside here is the beach which is shallow-ended and safe. Great scenery to watch out, at a very low ticket cost of ₹5 per head, collected by District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC). But the food items and games at various stalls cost you more.

Veli village is past its glorious days. It can do with better maintenance. Still one of the places you can go to for spending some time. Usually crowded though.

A very cool place to hangout. Whole place is very neat & clean having very nice views. Boating facility available.
