    School of Social Sciences of MG University is situated at Pullarikkunnu, about five kilometres from Kottayam town. The School has a soul of its own and was designed by renowned architect Romi Khosla in the early 1980s. The structure, perched on a hillock, has been known for its splendid location, aesthetics and environment-friendliness. Working with barrier- free design specialists, the School has initiated a unique project named ABILITY to create an inclusive space, for physically challenged, especially visually-challenged students and researchers. ABILITY project involves both structural alterations and provision of assistive technologies. The project is now on to its Phase - II which aims to launch an open access digital archive with audition. ABILITY is funded by the Government of Kerala.
