Sikshasandhan is an education resource organisation (NGO, registered under societies registration act of 1860) in the state of Odisha. Their intervention is focused solely on education. Apart from ensuring access of less privileged children to government run schools they work on improving quality of education in these schools. So they undertake various activities associated with quality improvement in education. Some of the interventions are developing quality teaching learning materials, training to teachers, ensuring community participation in better school management etc. One of their significant achievement is their contribution towards formulating a language policy in the state for pre-school and primary school going children. Sikshasandhan has lot of expertise of working in the grassroots level to implement and assess the outcome of all such experimentation. Sikshasandhan now needs to scale up their intervention by putting equal effort in developing organisational systems and a strong team to take these efforts forward seamlessly.
