    Typical suburban junction station with connectivity of main road. Few food stalls old fashioned non- ramp type over bridge. Pf 2 3 for main line, 4 5 for circular rail junction trains, pf 4 5 not fully sheded.

    Modern build up. Crowded during morning and evening hours. Face of railway station will change after functioning of up coming metro station....Joka BBD metro line.

    Beautifully decorated and well maintained station. I have never come across any litter in the entire platform or station compound. The only issue that often troubles passengers​ is the narrow overbridge.

    The station is clean and well planned with nice seating arrangement. Communication is also very good with Behala.

    Well connected with NewAlipore Tapatalk Clean station Fly announcement. Need to be less shouting and more moderated for passengers to understand

    But for the narrow, dirty and crowded approach road this station would have been a strong contender for the most well managed and beautiful suburban rail station. Nevertheless it has transformed itself in recent years. Good connectivity with Circular and Eastern Railway. Nearby Government Mint makes it a easy gateway for tourists.

    IF YOU AVAIL THE CIRCULAR LINE TRAIN THEN MAJHERHAT IS A STATION IN THE SOURTHER PORTION OF KOLKATA. AND IF YOU AVAIL A TRAIN FROM SEALDAH STATION (SOUTH) THEN MAJHERHAT STATION IS ON THE SEALGAD (SOUTH)- BUDGE BUDGE ROUTE. FROM MAJHERHAT STATION ONE CAN AVAIL CIRCULAR LINE TRAIN AS WELL AS SEALDAH (SOUTH) LINE TRAIN. NICE STATION. WELL MAINTAINED. GOOD WATER, WAITING AND TOILET FACILITIES.
