I would have given no stars if i could. This place was recommended by a driver at The beginning of our trip. The staff were nice and helpful. They are not pushy at first but try to overwhelm you with items and you feel compelled to buy because they spent all this time with you. I had told one I have no money and was told as a foreigner I had lot of money and plastic money. Another worker told my friend they needed the sale to feed their children. I would recommend not buying from them. If you see something you like get their card, shop around and come back. You will find it cheaper everywhere else.

This is a scam, stay away from it. The products are overpriced. You can get the same stuff elsewhere cheaper. The tour guide gets a commission on what you buy at the shop in return for bringing you there. This could ruin your trip. Just tell your guide, no, you are not interest and pass on it completely.

Avoid this bazar! your driver will tell you about special offer...tax free day and other things to get you there. Worst hard selling ever...really annoying. BTW...sooo expensive! 3 silver(they say so) rings 85 pounds!Better buy them in uk, same price(or less) and much more guarantees!

BUYERS BEWARE! We were taken to Mantra / Nirula Handicrafts Bazaar by our driver and tour guide while visiting Delhi (which I later learned was a way to lure tourist in and a way for the Tour Company/Tour Guide to earn commission from sellers!). I bought a couple of handcrafted marble statues, which according to the sales person included cost of packing/shipping as well as insurance to cover any damage to the goods purchased. The sales person assured me time and again that they ship regularly and have had no issues with breakages. Also in the event something did happen to my purchased items, it would be easy to claim back from the insurance company. (which turns out to be total BS...these people will do and say anything to grab the sale from tourists visiting their store!!!) The items were delivered by DHL Express on 28th Dec16. One of the statues (Shiva with family) was damaged. Nirula (or as they also call themselves, "Mantra" ) did not bother to respond to my e-mail promptly (it took them almost 2 weeks to reply!!!). When they did decided to FINALLY respond they asked me to a) contact DHL and file a claim, b) contact their Insurance representative in the US, however for that they advised that I need a copy of the original Insurance Certificate which they would be mailing to me (this was on 10th Jan and I still have not received this document!) . Long story short, here we are on 23rd Jan and Nirula has not sent the Insurance Certificate required to put in a claim for the damaged statue, so therefore I cannot proceed with the claim with their insurance representative!. . Additionally DHL is now stating that they need the Seller/Shipper to sign a release form without which they cannot process my claim.(which is a total and utter joke since it took Mantra / Nirula 2 weeks to reply to my initial e-mail and they still have not sent me the documentation that their insurance representative requires to settle the claim, so how the heck am I supposed to get them to sign a release form??!!!). So bottom line people - this is a VERY unreliable/ untrustworthy/overpriced seller.....so do not bother spending your hard earned money in their store...unless you want to throw away your money!!!
