A neat lodge for short stays in Kaaraikudi. Situated conveniently close to shopping places. The best part is the Karaikudi Annalakshmi restaurant in the same complex. The food there alone is worth staying in Golden Singar.

This hotel is very near to Periyar Statue and the rooms require more cleanliness as it looks as though it was ages since some body stayed there. There is no complimentary breakfast and the room service is satisfactory. The reception was quick. It has now become customary for hotels in tamilnadu even in ac rooms only giving ro treated water and no mineral water bottle.
